Learn about porn without having to watch it. I is for Instructional (pay attention class), Interracial and Interview Porn
Instructional
You know how I make instructional videos but they don’t feature real people? Well on porn sites there are instructional videos which actually feature actual people having sex. Not just badly drawn cartoons, with a voice that sends people to sleep or some beardy man ranting on and on about contraception.
To be honest though I think mine are better sex education. A lot of these videos are like ‘this will work every time’ and ‘everyone likes it like this’. A lot of that isn’t actually true because everyone is different. You can learn some basic anatomy and some basic tips about how to sex but the way to have good sex is to be able to find ways to communicate to each other what you want.
Please check out my YouTube channel yeah? I don’t get very much love on that video sharing website.
Interracial
I’ve written more about this over here but this refers to (obviously) different races having sex with each other. Interracial sex in real life still has some stigma attached to it for many people. Lots of people think that it’s only ok to have sexual relationships with someone of a similar race. Some people might not believe in this necessarily but still might think that it’s a bit naughty or rebellious, which may be one of the reasons that some folk this a turn on.
Also, like I said here, the depiction of race in porn often relies on certain racial stereotypes. Some people can find this a turn off and some kind find it a turn on. What we find sexy can be confusing because sometimes what people find sexy (or not sexy) in porn is not what they might think is right or true in real life.

Interview
There are lots of different kinds of interviews in porn but the main kind is the casting couch interview. The story of these scenes is that there is a young wannabe porn actor (usually a woman, but not always) who is interviewed by a casting agent who they then have sex with to show their porn skillz. Often in these story lines the agent is ‘fake’ and there is no job at the end, which means that these women are being tricked into having sex with them for no reason. Sounds pretty nasty huh?
However, it’s most likely that these scenes are actually fake fake scenes. So the person on the casting couch is being paid, knows that the scene is going to be published and signs forms giving their consent for everything (and also their 2257 forms to prove they are over 18). So, to clarify, the story is that the women are being tricked into having sex on camera, but actually they are being paid and know exactly what’s happening. Also many of these models appear in other porn for other studios. (Thanks to Ruby and Aaron for your help on the research for this!)
Non-fake interviews
Other interviews feature porn stars being interviewed about their lives generally, what got them into porn, what they think about it, who their favourite performers are, their favourite scenes, what their star sign is, their shoe size etc etc. Remember these are often made and shot by the porn studios, so it’s up to you to decide how honest the interviewee can be.
There are other interviews (particularly in kink or BDSM porn) which take place before and after sex scenes. They feature interviews with people taking part talking about what it is they are about to do, how they feel and what they expect. After the scene they have an interview discussing how it was for them and how they felt it went – all that kind of stuff. Again these interviews are conducted by the porn director themselves so people may not feel able to be totally honest but it’s up to the viewer to make up their own mind.

Other websites you might find helpful
There are other websites a bit like this one who have more funding than mine so they can do more and can provide more support. There’s Scarleteen who have lots of great advice articles and also moderated message boards where you can hang out and ask questions of other folk like you. Brook also offer sexual health services in person in the UK and online. The Mix are a UK online youth support service. For straight up advice I really like Go Ask Alice from Columbia University. Remember if you are in the UK and want some support there are loads of services near you, lots of them have their own websites.

I’m not using social media much now to be honest. I put all my time into this website and also I think people trust sites like this more than social media. I still post on Instagram and also BlueSky when I’ve done a new thing, so you can follow me there. My YouTube has some of my old videos. You could also follow me on Reddit if you like (just starting out, so tell me which sub-reddits you’d like to see me post in).

you seem to be missing a common ish tag, which is incest, I would also be fun to know your opinion on it if you reply
Yeah I think all the ‘step family’ porn became more popular after I initially wrote these. I will do an update at some point
