A-Z of Porn ‘K’

Learn about porn without actually having to watch it. K is for Kissing porn.

I’m using one particular site (no I’m not telling you which) and there are no Js and only one K. I’m very disappointed there are no ‘Karate’, ‘Kayak’, ‘Kitchen’ or ‘Kerplunk’ categories. However there is:

Kissing

Don’t get too excited kissing fans – there aren’t very many videos of people *just* kissing in porn. The videos that fall under the ‘Kissing’ category usually are your regular porn scenes which just have some, or a bit more kissing in than usual. On the free porn websites (which, by the way, are some of the most popular websites in the world) the person who uploads the clips and the viewers can tag the scene. So just because a scene features kissing (at the beginning of the video) it can also include lots of naked entry sex too.

[However there are some *just* kissing videos which don’t feature nudity or any other kind of sex, they’re also on YouTube so they’re probably ok for you to watch – your call. If in doubt ask a parent/responsible adult. You might get some snogging hints from them.]

Kissing is a big thing in porn story lines featuring young people (over 18 in real life) experimenting with their first sex experiences. So the kissing comes first and then they get naked and maybe try masturbation and then maybe some entry sex. Sound familiar? When it comes to sex in the non-porn world young people also still like to take it slowly and to build up to ‘sex’. [Check out this interesting academic paper]

However in porn and in real life I’d still like to see us mix things up a bit. Kissing can be great fun all by itself. One thing does not have to lead to another. There are loads of different ways of having ‘sex’ that isn’t just intercourse. That’s what I spend a lot of time talking about on this website.
